About

How we work

An assessment first, then a plan you can do at home between visits.

Hands-on
treatment

Exercise
you’ll keep

Our physiotherapists work from your history, how you move, how strong you are and what the problem gets in the way of. Nothing is promised before that.

Where it hurts, and what we look at.

Knee

We look at how the joint moves, the strength around it, and how it copes with stairs, squats or a run. We ask what changed and when, and what you want to get back to.

Lower back

We look at when it comes on, how you bend, sit and lift, and the strength through the hips and trunk. We ask how it gets in the way of work or sport.

Shoulder

We look at reach above and behind you, strength through the arm, and how the neck and upper back are working. We try the overhead or lifting jobs that matter to you.

Neck

We look at how the neck and upper back move, what a long desk day or a drive does to them, and the strength and habits around it.

Ankle & foot

We look at balance on one leg, how the ankle and foot move and take load, and the footwear and surfaces you stand or run on.
